Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing snipchamp.app or using the SnipChamp editor, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

SnipChamp provides a browser-based video editing tool. The editor runs entirely in your browser — no footage is transmitted to our servers. We also operate a waitlist for early access and a marketing website at snipchamp.app.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SnipChamp to:

• Edit, produce, or distribute content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Create content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the WebAssembly source.
• Use the service in a way that disrupts its availability for others.

4. Intellectual property

SnipChamp and its design, code, and brand marks are owned by Streakky Private Limited. You retain full ownership of any footage you edit. We claim no rights to content you process locally in the editor.

5. Local processing disclaimer

The editor runs in your browser and accesses files via the browser's File System API. You are responsible for the content you edit and export. Streakky Private Limited is not liable for content produced using SnipChamp.

6. No warranty

SnipChamp is provided “as is” during early access. We make no warranty that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Streakky Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or footage.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
